Bright Pearl Educare Centre (乐乐明珠辅育中心), Subang Bestari

Bright Pearl Educare Centre is situated in a spacious setting across three separate terrace house units located in Subang Bestari. It was established in 2005 by Ms. Tee, a hands-on principal together with a team of long serving senior teachers who are qualified in Early Childhood Education. The school's layout reflects a conducive learning environment, featuring numerous well-equipped individual classrooms with plenty of learning materials. Additionally, each classroom is equipped with its own attached washroom, providing a private space to facilitate effective learning. There is a small garden for growing plants, and they have access to an open field and playground within the guarded residential area, providing lots of opportunities for outdoor play.

A Balanced Education for a Smooth Transition to Primary School

Children here are offered a broad and well-rounded education that is guided by the requirements of our national preschool curriculum. They learn through structured lessons with a focus on the following areas of learning:

• Brain Development Activities
• Computer
• Living Skills

Emphasis is placed on developing important life skills, communication abilities and creativity. Children have plenty of practice to develop their understanding of mathematical concepts (numbers, shapes, spaces and measurement). They are encouraged to explore their ideas in a variety of mediums, such as art, music and movement. Children are also taught important practical life exercises like preparing food, cleaning up and self-care skills, to foster independence.

The curriculum is extended by many extracurricular activities and external visits, such as trips to the farm, supermarket, sushi restaurant, to name but a few. Every year, there are annual events like Sports Days and concerts, as well as a number of festival celebrations to allow children to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. In addition, there are holiday enrichment programmes, art and drawing classes, Ukulele, Taekwondo, and mental arithmetic classes on Saturdays.  

Primary Educare and Homework Guidance

Achieving success in primary school is one of the main goals of Bright Pearl Educare Centre. Besides operating as a kindergarten, their associate branch does offer homework guidance services, before and after school day care services, daily tuition (BM, English, Chinese, Maths and Science), to help primary school children thrive in their studies. Teachers guide children in the following:

• Writing Essays & Sentence Construction (English, BM & Chinese)
• Mathematics & Problem Solving
• Comprehensive Exam Revision

Children’s Well-Being

Children's well-being is a top priority at the centre. The experienced and qualified team of teachers is dedicated to nurturing children with essential virtues and good values, such as responsibility and good manners. They also guide the children in strengthening their reading, speaking, listening, writing, thinking and problem-solving skills. To support their overall health, fresh and nutritious food is prepared daily in the centre's own kitchen.

Furthermore, the learning experiences are designed to encourage collaboration with friends, promoting socialisation with respect and manners. As a result, the children develop a positive self-esteem, fostering a sense of confidence and belief in themselves.
