The programmes combine these standards with a strong emphasis on thematic and inquiry-based learning. This educational approach plays a vital role in supporting the character development of each child, shaping them into responsible, independent and compassionate global citizens who actively contribute to their community.
The dedicated teachers at Small Wonder harness the innate curiosity and love for learning that each child possesses, maximizing their educational experience. As a result, the children eagerly anticipate attending school each day.
In the Early Years programmes, which encompass the Playgroup and Nursery 1 stages (18-36 months), the curriculum adopts a holistic and child-centred approach. It prioritises the development of children's communication and language skills, physical abilities, as well as personal and social development. This comprehensive curriculum integrates four key components across the cognitive, social, emotional and physical domains, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
As children progress into the Nursery 2 stage (4 years old), the curriculum further emphasizes a cognitive and constructivist learning approach. During these crucial years, the focus expands to encompass holistic goals, life skills, learning dispositions, attitudes and academic competencies. An integrated curriculum is complemented by an interactive skills curriculum, nurturing process-oriented learning and facilitating the acquisition of knowledge, concepts and skills.
Small Wonder Setia Eco Park is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating educational environment, where children's wondrous minds are challenged, and their love for learning is nurtured. With its comprehensive curriculum and dedicated teachers, Small Wonder strives to prepare children for a bright future, equipping them with the skills and character to thrive in an ever-changing world.
