Parents today have a lot on their plate when it comes to their children's early education. When should they start? How should their child learn? What should they learn? We can no longer afford to just send our children to kindergarten for a year or two before entering primary school and expect them to catch up or do well, for school curriculum today is far more advanced than it was in yesteryears.
Families in Selangor and Subang are finding ABC Tot, a premium foundation school for toddlers, to be the most ideal solution, allowing children to cultivate and build important skills that they can use for life while introducing basic concepts of selected core primary school subjects. As ABC Tot accepts children from age two to four years, little ones will get adequate exposure to schooling environments and beneficial lessons during their critical growing period when their brains are at their peak learning period.
Using an approach not used by many other early education centres in Malaysia, ABC Tot Ara Damansara teachers here strive to leverage on the various types of intelligences that are naturally present in children. By acknowledging these qualities of children, which may vary from child to child, their respective uniqueness are respected too.
The approach calls for teachers to identify and use lessons for selected educational stories in their teaching plan. These are reflected in the activities that are designed and planned out for children. In toddler-friendly ways, multiple intelligences are also developed, and they include Linguistic-Verbal Intelligence; Logical-Mathematical Intelligence; Visual-Spatial Intelligence; Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence; and Musical Intelligence; Interpersonal Intelligence; Intrapersonal Intelligence; and also their Naturalistic Intelligence; and Existential Intelligence.
