Established in mid-2018 and strategically located at Bandar Baru Klang, Acmar International and Private Schools have earned a reputation of being the top in its category owing to its wholesome holistic approach in guiding its students to emerge as creative and critical thinkers with indispensable 21st century skills. These inevitably equal to owning top-notch facilities that are conducive for students to hone knowledge and timely skills on droning, robotics, coding, etc.
While the school was founded in 1996, its International School wing (AIS) was set up in 2018.

Teachers strive to stay focused on all the crucial elements of their class to ensure that their students gain the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in their lessons. For all assignments as well as activities, students are made well aware of the goals, as with each lesson taught. It is worth noting too that technology need not drive the students’ goals!
This commitment is also echoed by its incredibly conducive environment, thoughtfully designed to help children thrive. Classrooms, for instance, are spacious, cheerful and set up in ways which allow healthy interaction. A Games Corner keeps students adequately entertained while the Awards Section helps to boost their self-esteem.
Holistic, comprehensive programmes
AIS offers the high-quality education parents hope to provide for their children, from the Early Years ages, Primary School, right up to Secondary School. The youngest group of students in AIS are ensured of a great head start in their schooling journey with lots of enjoyable, beneficial activities that keep them motivated to learn, develop and expand their horizons.
The Primary School scene at AIS is powered by a balanced curriculum which is thematic in nature, creative, and backed by the acclaimed Cambridge International Primary Curriculum framework.
Secondary Schooling in AIS challenges students’ independent thinking skills through inquiry-based curriculum, allowing them to make connections and apply knowledge to real-life situations. The aim is to guide these future job seekers to become self-motivated and self-enquiring in their quest for knowledge, and be well-prepared to sit for their IGCSE examination.
Guidance and care: After school programmes & Extracurricular activities
Learning and discovering doesn’t necessarily end as soon as the school bell rings for dismissal. AIS is, after all, known for its list of after school programmes that suitably occupy students’ extra time. There are Core Subject Guidance, Homework Supervision, Nursery, Refresh & Rest, just to name a few. And, no schooling experience would be complete without the involvement in extracurricular activities, whereby AIS offers choices of Holiday programmes, field trips and other activities that include fresh air and sunshine that help occupy students’ time way better than spending hours in front of a screen.
Maintaining positive parent-school relationship and communication
No school can uphold its good name and reputation without exemplary teachers who are qualified and have a passion to teach. AIS ensures parents that all its teachers are fairly screened for the job of guiding and teaching their students into achieving excellence in their schooling journey, and undergo training at least twice a year.
Care and effort are clearly placed into ensuring that communication lines are always open and at ease between parents and the school, lending a sense of relief and assurance for families. Parents need not think twice about contacting the school/teachers regarding their children’s welfare, progress, etc, via WhatsApp and/or email, or even face-to-face meetings, and also during the Parents-Teachers Conferences. The school believes in and practices positive interactions with parents, which is why parents are always greeted with a smile and by their names. Questions will hardly ever go unanswered, and feedback is always welcome.
Safety first!
Regardless of whether students are boarding at Acmar or entering and exiting from school daily, their safety will always be given due priority to ensure untoward incidents are avoided at all costs. Besides being given frequent fire drills, students are encouraged and guided to learn emergency procedures for every imaginable scenario to ensure the safety and wellbeing of themselves as well as their peers. Parents are also urged to familiarize themselves with all the relevant emergency knowledge, whereby they can provide parental guidance for their child on what to do during emergencies of any kind.
