Small Wonder Malaysia, Bukit Jalil City provides children with an enriching education in a harmonious learning environment. A stimulating environment for self-paced, joyful learning
Take a walk through the learning areas and you will find children enthusiastically exploring in harmony. Within this intimate little society, they develop mutual respect and learn from each other. The school exudes a very calm atmosphere that envelops children with a sense of comfort and offers them the reassurance of security. Spaces are open with exposed shelves filled with an array of specially designed learning materials; every piece of furniture and equipment is proportional to children’s height and size.
In this stimulating setting, children’s learning is guided by a curriculum and programmes that incorporate both local & international education standards from Malaysia (KSPK), Singapore (NEL) and UK (EYFS). The programmes adopt thematic and inquiry-based approaches, encouraging students to explore and discover knowledge actively.
For children aged 18-36 months, Small Wonder offers the Playgroup Programme as part of the Early Years Curriculum. It is designed to be holistic, child-centred and exploratory, focusing on the development of communication and language skills, physical and cognitive abilities, as well as social and emotional growth.
The Preschool Programme, tailored for 4- to 6-year-olds adopts a cognitive approach, promoting holistic goals and academic competencies while encouraging process-oriented learning. By combining these elements, Small Wonder strives to provide a comprehensive education that nurtures children's abilities and prepares them for the future.
Teachers endeavour to truly educate by encouraging children to be independent thinkers who will become increasingly responsible for their own education over time. The emphasis is placed on the process of learning. Throughout the series of repeated activities that are geared towards each child’s own needs and level of readiness, s/he will experience a series of successful achievements which will help build inner confidence and a positive attitude that will carry them through life.
