RoboThink, Bandar Utama is the first RoboThink centre in Southeast Asia, bringing one of the world’s most respected robotics and coding enrichment programmes to Malaysia. Originating in the United States, RoboThink was founded on a powerful vision: to equip children with future-proof skills for the 21st century.
Since then, RoboThink programmes have inspired thousands of students across 12+ countries and earned multiple international accolades. Today, RoboThink Malaysia has expanded beyond Bandar Utama, with centres in Cheras Leisure Mall, Subang SS18, Bangsar South, Kuala Selangor, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Puncak Alam, and Johor — continuing its mission of shaping tomorrow’s innovators.
The RoboThink Edge
What makes RoboThink stand out among enrichment centres is its unique combination of curriculum, hardware, software, and teaching method.
Proprietary Hardware & Software
Every RoboThink centre is powered by exclusive, in-house products. The RoboThink Robotics Kits are made from high-quality materials, designed to be flexible and safe for children while unlocking endless creative possibilities.
The proprietary coding platforms — RoKids, RoCoMi, RoCode, and advanced Python coding — simplify complex programming concepts into engaging, visual lessons. This ensures that students not only code but also see their creations come alive in the real world.
The Curriculum
The curriculum is the true strength of RoboThink. It is systematic, research-driven, and constantly updated to meet the evolving needs of society. Lessons break down STEM concepts into manageable steps, allowing children to learn progressively and confidently.
As Chief Academic Officer Alice Leong explains: “Many robotics centres focus on products, but at RoboThink the curriculum is the heart of everything. It’s systematic, well-organised, and always improving. Our global team of engineers and educators ensure it evolves with what students and society need today.”
The curriculum is never static — feedback from RoboThink centres worldwide is incorporated regularly, making learning fun, relevant, and future-ready.
The RoboThink Method
At RoboThink, children are encouraged to learn through exploration. Instructors provide guidance, but the emphasis is on independent problem-solving. Students are free to build, modify, test, and redesign — gaining resilience and creativity with every attempt.
“We believe you cannot start running before learning to walk. That’s why our programmes emphasise the right sequence of learning — from robotics foundations to advanced coding. This way, children build strong foundations and truly enjoy the process,” adds Alice.
RoboThink Programmes
The 2025 curriculum update introduces a broader range of programmes under two main series:
Creator Series – Robotics & Coding
Junior RoboThinker (5–7 years old): Hands-on introduction to robotics. Children develop motor and visualisation skills, learn about gears and motors, and eventually code the robots they build.
RoboThinker (8–15 years old): Structured projects that cover mechanical systems, electronic components, servo motors, sensors, and coding using the RoCoMi app. Students build and modify robots weekly.
RoboMaster (13+ years old): A new advanced programme for older students, focusing on real-world projects such as designing Mars rovers. Students practice research, critical thinking, and problem-solving over 12–18 months.
Coder Series – Coding Focus
Junior RoCoder (7–9 years old): Story-based block coding lessons that introduce coding in a fun, accessible way.
RoCoder (9–12 years old): Integrates block coding with video game design, teaching logic, sequences, and computational thinking.
RoCoder Plus (13+ years old): Advanced coding with Python, where students develop algorithms and solve real-world challenges, preparing them for higher studies and future careers.
Benefits for Children
RoboThink’s programmes go far beyond teaching robotics. Every week, the students are exercising their brains, just like building muscles through physical workout. Hence, they develop critical 21st century skills that children carry into every aspect of life:
Critical thinking & problem-solving – Children learn to approach challenges step by step.
Creativity & innovation – Every build and code unlocks new possibilities.
Resilience & persistence – Trial and error becomes a natural part of learning.
Confidence & independence – Students work at their own pace, gaining self-belief as they progress.
Awareness of technology in daily life – Parents often share stories of their children identifying sensors, automation, and robotics in everyday surroundings.
Contribution to Society
Beyond individual growth, RoboThink plays an important role in society. Traditional science education often relies on memorisation. RoboThink changes this by making STEM hands-on, engaging, and meaningful.
Children learn by observing, experimenting, and exploring — cultivating curiosity, resilience, and innovation. These qualities are essential for Malaysia’s future workforce and for advancing society through technology.
“Robotics education is not about memorising facts. It’s about observing, experimenting, and discovering. This way of learning prepares children for the future in the most natural way,” Alice emphasises.
RoboThink @ School & Franchise Opportunities
RoboThink also partners with schools and kindergartens through the RoboThink @ School programme, offering weekly after-school classes. This ensures more children gain exposure to robotics, coding, and future-ready skills.
For entrepreneurs, RoboThink offers one of the world’s leading STEM edu-tainment franchise system, backed by proprietary products and an award-winning curriculum.
Why Parents Should Choose RoboThink
For parents, RoboThink is not just an enrichment programme — it is an investment in their child’s future.
“We don’t sell products. We sell a curriculum that provides lifelong learning. Parents don’t need to buy anything extra — just register and let your child learn. That is the most meaningful education we can provide,” says Alice.
In a world where technology is advancing rapidly, parents and society must recognise the value of robotics and coding education. Here, every child learns to imagine, build, code, and create — the essential skills for a brighter future. If you want to future-proof your children’s education, RoboThink is the place to be.
