Our full day (8 am – 3 pm) and extended full day (8 am – 6 pm) sessions for 18 months – 6 years old children include enrichment programmes that allow preschoolers to learn life skills in the areas of music, theatre, language and physical activity.

In our pedagogical practice, the S.M.I.L.E.S.™ environment is one of the engagement and security of nurturing and exploration where our children feel secure and confident to thrive in. It prepares the brain for optimal growth and anticipates the future development of the 3-Mind. The acronym S.M.I.L.E.S. stands for: Sensory, Motor (Music and Movement), Intellectual, Linguistic, Emotional and Social. It is a principle which acknowledges that the human brains, in their formative stages, need all aspects of the mind to be stimulated simultaneously – and that all activities contain the potential for providing experiences that engage all of the S.M.I.L.E.S. elements.
By constantly focusing on the creation of S.M.I.L.E.S. activities, the MindChamps teacher becomes a potent source of age-appropriate stimulation for a mind hungry for the building-blocks of intellect and social-emotional development.

“We realised that, in most national education systems, children are not sufficiently taught how to learn. Therefore, to address this issue, MindChamps decided to work alongside international, award-winning researchers and education experts, such as world-renowned neuroscientist Emeritus Professor Allan Snyder FRS, to formulate a unique approach to educating young minds. In order to deliver the highest standards in early childhood education, all MindChamps teachers receive up to 200 hours of extensive training and accreditation from the Singapore headquarters. The teachers, as well as trainers, are personally coached by the experts of the World Research, Advisory and Education Team. The extensive training sessions ensure teachers are fully equipped to impart the MindChamps curriculum and nurture generations of young Champs.

Communication with parents and updates about children’s learning and development is provided through the MindChamps App (a Parent App). At MindChamps, children’s safety and security are always placed as their utmost priority. These practices include a Health Check System (3 times daily of children’s temperature taking and sanitisation), furniture with child-proof corners and edges, strict authorisation procedure for pick-ups, CCTV surveillance and security officer stations outside the centre.

To provide parents the peace of mind knowing that their children will be safe in school, MindChamps has enforced the following key practices: thorough disinfection and temperature taking at the entrance, real-time health condition updates and attendance records are instantly reported on the school’s app, ensure 1 metre social distancing, children have individual sets of resources, advanced equipment for sanitisation and disinfection, periodic disinfection from professional service provider, proper hand hygiene, food safety, visitors have to check in via My Sejahtera, and all students, teachers and parents are required to be tested weekly for the virus to mitigate any contagion risks.
