Clever Education, Segamat, Johor was established in 2017 as a daycare and tuition centre for primary school students aged 7 to 12 years. Located within a semi-detached house, the centre mostly caters to the working parents of the Tadika Mutiara Ceria alumni – with the kindergarten situated just round the corner. It aims to benefit students by resolving any learning gaps they might be facing in school so that they are able to reach their full potential, while giving parents a peace of mind about the safety and academic progress of their children.
This branch is one of the 45 Clever centres that forms this well-established daycare and tuition chain. Aligned with the standards of the KSSR curriculum, teachers aim to help students who may be struggling to perform in school improve in these 5 main subjects – English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Science and Mathematics. For languages, students are guided to strengthen their reading, listening, writing, speaking and reasoning skills. For Science and Mathematics, students are encouraged to explore, strengthen their problem-solving ability and deepen their engagement in learning. Once students see improved achievements, they will develop a sense of confidence in them as effective learners, which will also turn into a love of learning.
Clever learning centres are well known for its structured homework coaching and goal advancement systems. These 2 systems work in tandem to support students to better manage their homework in a productive way. The teachers will not only ensure everything is done correctly but also inspire students to be self-motivated when it comes to completing their homework and learning.
Children who spend their after-school hours in the Clever learning centre benefit from more than just improved academic learning outcomes. The daycare programme exposes children to a healthy daily routine of nutritious lunches followed by self-care habits, homework coaching and a variety of other enriching activities.
