Starting primary school is an exciting milestone, but it can also be a big adjustment for young children. SSIS Preparatory Class is specially designed to bridge the gap between preschool and primary school, helping children make this transition with confidence.

Our Preparatory Class focuses on developing the whole child. While academic readiness is an important part of the programme, we also place strong emphasis on independence, communication, social skills, self-management, problem-solving and confidence.

Children learn through a combination of structured learning, play, hands-on activities, group experiences and meaningful daily routines. This allows them to practice important skills in a natural and engaging way while gradually becoming familiar with the expectations of a primary school environment.

Throughout the year, teachers provide guidance and encouragement while giving children opportunities to make choices, express their ideas, work with others and take responsibility for their own learning.

We believe every child develops at their own pace. Our goal is not simply to prepare children to enter Primary One, but to help them feel ready, confident and excited about the journey ahead.

At Preparatory, we prepare children not just for their next classroom, but for their next stage of growth.
