Where It All Began
A Nature-Inspired, Play-Based Kindergarten for Ages 4–6
Fun Home OUG is where the Fun Home journey first began in 2015, as one of Malaysia’s early play-based kindergartens.
Specially focused on children aged 4 to 6, OUG is also the Fun Home to choose if you’re concerned about your child’s transition to Primary Standard 1. Think of it as the final play-based stop before primary school.
Our team is professionally trained in Early Childhood Education, with some educators also bringing primary teaching experience into the classroom. This gives us a deeper understanding of where children are heading next — and how to prepare them without turning kindergarten into primary school too early.
Here, school readiness is more than worksheets and academics.
It’s about building confidence, independence, communication and problem-solving skills, while developing the academic foundations children will need for Primary 1.
All this happens alongside access to one of our biggest outdoor environments — with plenty of room to run, explore nature, get messy and learn beyond the classroom.
Because we believe children can be ready for what’s next without rushing through what they have now.

Although Kaylee and Haylee have only been at Fun Home OUG for just about 3 months, we can already see many positive changes in them. ❤️
Kaylee is always happy and excited to go to school every morning. She gets along very well with her teachers and friends, and we can see her becoming more confident day by day. As parents, nothing makes us happier than seeing our child genuinely enjoying school and looking forward to going every day. ☺️
Haylee is a little different from her sister. She is more introvert, very shy and needs more time to warm up to people. We are really thankful for how patient and understanding the teachers have been with her. They never rushed or gave up on her, but kept encouraging her gently and followed her pace.
Recently, we can finally see her slowly opening up, interacting more and becoming more comfortable at school. It may be a small step, but to us it means so much. ❤️

It’s wonderful to see how much Rhys has grown since joining Fun Home. There is a special feeling of warmth and camaraderie in the school — every teacher knows every student’s name, including Rhys.
From learning how to hold a pencil well to becoming more confident in sensory activities, his class teachers, Teacher Yee Qin and Teacher Zhi Qi, are always there to encourage and cheer him on. At times, we receive little messages about the moments Rhys has had in class, or how something he did made his teachers laugh and smile. We truly cherish those messages because we know that he is genuinely cared for.
