Fun Home Gembira Kindergarten, Happy Garden KL

Our daughter joined FunHome Gembira when she was 4, and now at 5, we can genuinely see how much she has grown not just academically, but in her confidence, emotional development and independence.

One of the things we appreciate most is how FunHome gives children opportunities to build confidence through performances and school activities. Over time, we have seen our daughter become increasingly comfortable participating in front of others. Seeing that growth has been incredibly meaningful to us as parents.

The teachers have also been very attentive and caring towards the children. Whenever there are any mishaps or concerns, they communicate with us. Most importantly, our daughter has never complained about her teachers or the school. On the occasional days when she says she is too tired to go to school, it has never been because she dislikes being there, which to us, says a lot about the environment FunHome has created.

We also really appreciate how transparent and inclusive FunHome is with parents. We are given opportunities to join school activities and witness firsthand how the children learn and play. It gives us confidence that our daughter is in an environment where learning goes beyond the classroom.

Another aspect we value greatly is the school’s emphasis on important life skills. Our daughter is learning to identify and manage her emotions, as well as understand personal boundaries and how to protect her own body. We believe these are crucial lessons for young children, and we are thankful that FunHome introduces these concepts from an early age.

FunHome also provides a wide range of enriching after-school programmes, including mental arithmetic, Mandarin booster classes, Taekwondo and leadership activities. Even the food menu is something we appreciate, as the school clearly puts thought into the meals provided for the children.

Behind all of this, we can see how much effort FunHome puts into its teachers and how systematically the school is run. The care, effort and love shown by the teachers are reflected in the development of the students.

Overall, what we appreciate most about FunHome is that it feels like the school genuinely looks at the whole child. From confidence and emotional development to academics, physical activities, safety, nutrition and character-building, the school puts effort into covering the important aspects of a child’s growth and as parents, we can truly see the difference in our daughter. We are grateful to be part of the FunHome family. ❤️

One thing I really appreciate about FHG is how caring and attentive the teachers are. Sometimes, they notice little things about my child that I may not even notice myself, especially when it comes to his emotions and how he expresses himself. The teachers always take the time to share these observations with me, and I really appreciate that because it helps me understand my child better too.

I also love how fun and happy the environment at FHG is. I can see that my child is not only learning, but also enjoying himself, exploring and growing in a place where he feels happy, comfortable and cared for.

As a parent, it gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that my child is surrounded by teachers who genuinely care about him and pay attention to the little things. This is also why I’ve always felt comfortable recommending FHG to my friends and other parents. ❤️

We came from a very bad experience with the previous kindie when our boy was 3. We heard a lot about Funhome from friends and people around and we decided to give it go. We were very much not open up and worried our boy will have to go through the same again. However, we were given a trial day at OUG Funhome and the former Principal has given us a positive feedback with our boy. And we decided to enroll him in Funhome Gembira. Initially it was tough for us, but the principal, teachers and staffs has reassured us that our boy will be happy and have a fun learning environment! Our boy will always look forward to go school unlike the previous kindie. Not just the environment amd concept of learning, we came across to learn that it is always a 2 ways communications that makes the education meaningful to our child. School is very responsible and responsive in every inquiries we made. The teachers are very creative and willing to go extra miles to make sure our little one get meaningful memories in their early childhood experiences. Hence,we can assure the people around us, FUNHOME is the best of the best choice we have made in our life.

We especially love the hands-on and outdoor activities, which make learning fun and meaningful. Our child gets to explore, play, try new things, and develop confidence, independence, and social skills.

其實我會選擇 Fun Home Gembira 給我的孩子，原因很簡單。❤️
我一直都希望孩子的童年，是可以在「玩中學、學中玩」的環境裡長大。人生那麼長，我不希望孩子那麼小，就急著先學會握筆、寫字、死讀書。比起這些，我更希望他先學會愛自己、了解自己、懂得表達自己的情緒，也懂禮貌、懂感恩。這也是為什麼 Fun Home Gembira 的 Play-Based Learning 教育方式很吸引我。

在這裡，我最感謝的其實是老師們對孩子的細心和愛。
尤其是 Teacher Wendy 和 Teacher Beng Chu，她們真的很會察覺我孩子的情緒。當他有情緒、不開心或需要被安撫的時候，她們知道要怎麼跟他溝通、怎麼慢慢讓他冷靜下來。
身為媽媽，我覺得有人不只是「照顧」你的孩子，而是真的願意去理解他的情緒、看見他的需要，這一點真的很難得。🥹❤️
院長和副院長也都非常 helpful，每次有任何事情或需要溝通的地方，她們都會很願意幫忙。孩子來到 Fun Home Gembira 之後，我看見他最大的改變，就是整個人開朗了很多。
他開始更懂得表達自己、會說更多話，也學會了很多很多東西。最重要的是——他很喜歡去學校。 🥰

對我來說，孩子每天願意開開心心去學校，就是身為媽媽最想看到的事情。而我對 Fun Home 最滿意、也最放心的一點，就是安全感和有交代。孩子在學校的一舉一動，老師其實都有看在眼裡。哪怕只是一些小小的事情或情緒上的變化，老師都會留意，也會讓我們家長知道。所以每一次把孩子交給學校，我都可以很放心。我知道他在這裡不只是學習，而是有人看見他、理解他、照顧他，也愛著他, 很慶幸當初為孩子選擇了 Fun Home Gembira。💕
