Her extensive educational experience provides strong leadership to the direction and development of the programmes offered here. Designing children-centric curriculum and educational music composition are her forte. Despite receiving numerous industry accolades, she has no intention of resting on her laurels. Bright Star Chinese Education helps students grow in confidence and prepares them for the many challenges that they could face in today’s world. The curriculum framework and language goals are underpinned by China’s National Standard of Language Learning in Modern Standard Chinese. The programming recognizes the importance of early exposure to Chinese language and culture as children are the most responsive to second language education during the formative years of their lives. Students are put within an immersive learning environment that incorporates a rich variety of learning resources to deliver the best possible outcomes. Engaging teachers build on student’s knowledge, skills and interests through books, songs, stories, poems, games, drama, art and craft, and other interactive activities and practical aids. The intention is to address a range of learners through guided instruction within a setting that is individually oriented and aimed to enable them to achieve their full potential. Content in these programmes also weave in the key values of Confucianism – love, kindness, honesty, trustworthiness, goodness, modesty, wisdom, justice, respect and sincerity.
