At the beginning, he used to cry and didn't like going to school, but now he doesn't cry anymore. He has made great progress in many aspects, and this is what makes me happiest. As for my older son, he has improved and become more enthusiastic. He now enjoys learning more and loves the environment here, including the teachers and the school.” -Yong You & Zhen Qian (Year 5, Yong You & MK3 GK Zhen Qian's Mother)

"From the very first day I came in, I noticed the unique qualities of each individual and the way we all experience life differently. I believe that by creating the right space, we can help identity anc nurture these gifts, allowing everyone to shine in their own way” -Zephyrus (MK 2 GK, Zephyrus's Father)

Kanato Iwamoto (LSU 4 Kanato Iwamoto's Parent) rates this listing with

My son Kanato has been attending The Gifted Kids Care Centre (GKCC) for a year, and I'd like to share his experience. He struggled with English, having been away from Malaysia for a long time, and he's naturally shy and timid, which worried me about him making friends.

Julian(Year 1, Julian's Mother) rates this listing with

I am extremely happy with the event, especially since this is our second time participating. My son, Julian, has shown remarkable improvement. During the first event a few months ago, we were amazed by his ability to dance and how confident he was. This time, it was even more natural for him, as if performing confidently had become second nature. As parents, we are so proud and thrilled to witness his growth. We look forward to more such wonderful events in the future. Thank you for providing these opportunities!

AL Tan rates this listing with

Our Beautiful Journey with our Special and Most Loving Dyslexic Daughter Having our daughter is the happiest moment of our lives. Being born premature, she has few complications, but she managed to pull it through with the help of great doctors and nurses. As she grew up from an infant to a toddler, and from a toddler to school age, little did we know that she is dyslexic. Here is our journey… Our daughter was not able to cope with the subjects that were taught in class during her kindergarten days. None of the teachers were able to tell that she was having difficulties in her studies until one day at her age of 6, when an experienced teacher told us that she suspected that our daughter is dyslexic, and suggested that we bring her for an assessment. We went to various places, including a hospital and Persatuan Dyslexia Malaysia to assess and diagnose our daughter. True enough, all of the assessments indicate that she is dyslexic. As parents, we were indeed worried about her future, but worrying and not doing anything is definitely not the right thing to do. One of the teachers recommended that we enroll our daughter into a remedial class that uses the Orton-Gillingham approach for dyslexic children to help her with her studies. Following the teacher’s advice, we found Gifted Kids Care Centre through our research, which proved to be the right school for her. GKCC organized a talk by a father of a special child which became an eye opener for us to register an OKU card for our daughter, i.e., learning disability, which we have long procrastinated. What we have learned is that by having an OKU card, it does not mean that it is a bad label for our special child, instead it has many benefits for them and could help them in the future. Up to this day, what matter most for us is to ensure our darling daughter is happy, enjoying her studies and being able to learn things at her own pace. We can see her progress, slowly but surely. Having our daughter is the best gift ever and she has molded us to be a better parent. By: AL Tan

Geethashree’s mother rates this listing with

What a fabulous year! The time flew by in the blink of an eye. As parents, we really appreciate the amazing communication the teachers had with each of us. The love and kindness the children showed to each other was a direct result . My family cannot thank the team at GKCC enough for everything that the school has done for Geethashree this year. To the team of awesome instructors we say: thank you teachers from the bottom of our hearts! Your time, patience and sheer kindness was appreciated more than words can say. We are now confident that she is ready for her next pathway into primary school. Geethashree joined GKCC from April to August 2020 , the most apparent improvement that we’ve noticed is her communication with her elders or teachers, self-discipline, eye contact, ability to listen to instructions, ability in counting numbers, replying to command, reading capability, and also able to understand 2-way informal communications. The reason why we chose GKCC was because of the availability of experts for special needs kids in a small group classroom , methods applied to update parents on child improvements, and their approach to get the parents’ involvement is really good. -Geethashree’s

13. We are really glad to find Gifted Kids Care Centre. It's hard to find a dedicated teacher who is willing to teach kids like Meilson. We know this is the right school for him the moment he did his assessment. He is super excited to go to school every single day. To learn, meet new friends and teachers. We are always happy to hear his stories after class. He's definitely doing very well until covid crashes it. Hope this pandemic ends soon so he can get back on track and see him moving to the mainstream which is his ultimate goal. Thanks to all the teachers specially Ms. Khay and The Gifted Kids Team for making the difference to teach kids like Meilson. It’s life changing for them to have dedicated teachers like you. Thank u so much and hope to see u all soon in person.🙏🏼

We are grateful to have chosen GKCC/PHIS for my son, Louis. After one and a half years into PHIS, Louis has shown a lot of improvements in academics and personal development. In the academic point of view, he has shown a better understanding in Mathematics, Science, and English. In terms of personal development, he is now more disciplined and focused, willing to share his opinions and decision making. We appreciate the effort and hard work of the teachers. So we are confident that Louis will keep on improving with the guidance and support of the wonderful teachers. Thank you to the teachers of Pine Hills International School.

Angeline Wong rates this listing with

My daughter is gifted child and what worries me is if she is studying in government school she will not get a proper education and if I send her to other center such as WQ Park Kelana Jaya, she will learn lesser. I chose Pine Hills International school because is affordable. If I cannot afford then it's home school which my daughter rejected because she has seen it's didn't look like a school. When I highlighted to the teachers that my daughter writing skill is improving, they will give daily writing exercise so she can practice till perfect. When I don't believe that my daughter can participate in the games for sport day, the teacher send me a photo that she is playing one of the games that shows anything is possible. My daughter is in good guidance in this school because the teacher will do the assessment and only she passed ,she only can proceed to the next level. What more do you expect from an affordable price International school that provides gifted kids classes.

We're very pleased with PHIS curriculum and programme for our son Isaac Wong Ruey Xiang. My Son has been attending PHIS for about 2 years (since he was 7 years old). The care and education he has received in PHIS has been good and we can see a lot of improvement especially towards his attitude, focus, communication and creativity. In addition, PHIS programs offer many activities (indoor and outdoor) that my son always looks forward and it encourages him to go to school every day. Kudos to all the teachers and most importantly as a parent, my son is in good hands; he is happy to go to school and also the joy that shows in his face when I pick him up from school. Appreciate the effort and thank you to all of the teachers for your dedication and hard work in shaping my son in school.

(Fahim, LSU 1) rates this listing with

We have been searching for a school like PHIS for quite some time for our special child, Fahim. Fahim was diagnosed with ASD and was enrolled to LSU1 in PHIS in October 2022. The mechanism used by PHIS in assessing and recognizing a child's ability is flexible and dynamic which will enable a special child to excel in his strength whilst giving time for him to catch up in the areas where he needs more time to cope. We saw that Fahim is more enthusiastic in going to school nowadays. No more sulky face in the morning and his awareness of his surroundings has also improved. We recognized that PHIS has a very dedicated and enthusiastic team, a reflection of good leadership. The teachers and support team are always very responsive to any enquiries and they go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. Good job team!

(Ryan Choon, From LSU to Year 2 Transition Period: 1 Year) rates this listing with

Ryan was diagnosed with mild ADHD. He is hyperactive and we were unable to enrol him in other schools. I feel really grateful that he was accepted at Pine Hills International School. He showed progress after studying for more than a year. Initially, Ryan was not able to follow instructions such as taking turns and controlling his temper. Now, with the guidance from the teachers at Pine Hills International School, he is more independent and sociable, compared to before. I am so grateful for the teachers' guidance and patience towards Ryan.

The way the teachers adapt to each child’s needs is amazing. They really take the time to understand how our son learns best—what works for him, what overwhelms him, and how to keep him engaged.
