MyGenius Tuition & After School Care Centre, Kajang

Time flies, it all seems like yesterday. I still remember last year December, I was busy searching, asking relatives for day care & tuition center recommendation for my son – Robin.


Moving in Primary 1, changing to new environment is not an easy task for children, they are anxious with new environment, but yet curious of meeting new people/friends. I always believe children are naïve and they have six sense knowing, who treat them good and whether they feel safe/comfortable with the new environment. Gratefully we selected MyGenius after bring Robin visited few day care centers.


Robin is an active kid and curious with everything, he ask many questions, which sometime it will be quite annoying for some adult if they are impatient with children. This is something I concern most, because some old timer will categories this kind of children as problematic student. I still remember when I first met Teacher Ho, she told me: “Actually the more questions a children ask, it will help them grow & learn faster.” I’m so grateful I found a kind patient teacher like Teacher Ho, she always encourage children to speak out their mind and never be impatient with them. I’m glad that all teachers in MyGenius has the same attitude. Teacher Ho and team also create many different learning activities – drama class, cooking class, dancing class, recycling, movie watching & etc., which let children enjoy learning other than academy. This helps Robin build up communication skills and make new friends, other than his own classmates.


A good teacher does not mean cannot scold children, children still have to get some punishment when they make mistake or crossed the boundary. Most importantly, teacher has to explain to children why they get scolded and let them learn from their mistake. One time, Robin have make mistake, Teacher Shirene talk & explain to him on their eye level, I can see Robin is listening and apologize to teacher from his mistake. When Robin is moody when I send him to center in morning, teacher also will wait him slowly walk up and talk him through. Although kneeing down to talk with children on their eye level is not something new, but it’s something hardly see from parenting. All this small actions from MyGenius Teacher, does make a big different for my son and myself as a father. I admitted I do learn a lot from teachers.


I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all MyGenius Teachers. It’s not an easy job to handle bunch of playful children, especially mine. A kind words from teachers will deeply touch the children heart and change the way they react and becoming in future. Thanks you for your love and patient for my son. Keep it up the good work, I trust you can deliver the best to them. Lastly, I’m glad that Robin have found his life learning teachers in MyGenius Center.

The principal at MyGenius Primary Kajang is a responsible and caring person. She always takes very good care of the children. This includes paying attention to the children’s emotional well being and mental development. Children love her and parents respect her. She always go the extra mile to learn about the children's family background in order to provide the right support to each child. She will build a bridge for parents to communicate with children instead of focusing only on their results. This is one of the reasons why I feel relieved in sending my children to MyGenius. Transferring from another daycare at standard 4, Chinese school teachers commented that there were vast improvements in homework done. Most homeworks were completed in a timely manner.

I have personally seen boys with aggressive natures (my son included) being nurtured by the educators here to learn to mingle with others hence these hi-energy boys moved on to excel in sports and winning medals for school in sports and chess.

My son had improvement in maths and English writing. I am grateful as math in Chinese is a hard subject to master.

Daycare teachers helped me solved most child issues without troubling me.
They sometimes updated me on the happenings but have already solved the issues.

During my son’s time of grief due to death of a parent, the teachers took extra measures in creating the most positive and encouraging study environment so that he will continue to strive even in his lowest times.

My son has graduated primary 6 without having to attend remove classes. It was such an enjoyable journey. Thank you all teachers past n present, for you all have aided my son to achieve his highest potentials and to grow into a well-behaved young man.

Really happy with MyGenius so far! The teachers are super helpful and friendly... you can tell they genuinely care about the kids. My son enjoys going every day and always comes back with a smile. He’s always excited to share what he did at the center, whether it’s a fun activity or something new he learned.

My daughter loves MyGenius so much. I registered full package here which includes transportation from school to MyGenius + lunch + homework guidance + tuition. They have apps where I can get the updates about my daughter and communicate with the teachers. School holiday will never be a problem to working parents as they always be ready with school holiday programs (pre-register).

Boys are in the centre for 2 years. Very appreciate with the well organised platform for communications between parents and teachers. All the teachers are dedicated. And most important, boys love to attend the class in the centre.

I am immensely grateful for the incredible educational journey my daughter has had at MyGenius, starting from kindergarten and continuing through the years. It's been a second home for her. Both my kids graduated from mygenius kindergarten, and when we first sent them, we did worry a little because the centre is pretty new. but after seeing how caring the teachers are, and how my kids had made remarkable improvements. Before joining MyGenius, he wasn't able to read and write in Chinese, and unable to speak Mandarin. After joining, he is able to write and speak in Mandarin.

Before joining MyGenius, my son wasn't able to speak Mandarin, and definitely couldn't write. Since exposure to MyGenius, he improves tremendously in Mandarin. He can speak Mandarin fluently and write in Chinese very well as well.

Academically wise, he has improved a lot in Mandarin, Math, Bahasa and Science. Behavioral wise, he can manage himself better now, more independent and can follow instruction. He is a playful child. With guidance from teachers, he learns to be more patient and able to learn.

With MyGenius only 1 year. Biggest improvement since joining MyGenius is his Mandarin and learning attitude. He used to be playful and now he can concentrate better in his learning and homework.

I like that the children learn through fun activities. It's not boring for young children. The syllabus is good. Here the teachers will tutor him and guide him in the afternoon. Teachers provide good feedback to parents. There was once when the teachers noticed that he wasn't concentrating, and they reached out and spoke with us. This never happen before in previous school. And they are friendly.

As parents, our main concern is for our son to be able to adapt to the SJKC syllabus in Standard 1 as he attended Montessori kindergarten. He was having challenges in the SJKC for the first two months as his main language is English at home and Mandarin was a new language for him.

Fortunately, we enrolled our son to MyGenius Primary and MyGenius Mandarin Programme. We can see good improvement in his study and his school class teacher also noticed that during the first semester assessment. Other than providing tuition, teachers at MyGenius Primary also help him on his school homework and will update us on his progress.

We are very happy with Asher's progress and am confident that he will do well in his learning.

2 months after my triplets enrolled with MyGenius Primary when they entered Standard 1, my children have had a noticeable positive improvement in their study, attitude, and development especially my second son Jayden (who was very reluctant and “don’t care at all” at his study). A year later, my youngest son joined MyGenius Kindergarten and he has done very well too!

We speak Mandarin at home with our son, but we see big improvement in his English since joining MyGenius, discipline and writing in Chinese in just 3 months.

What I like about MyGenius is, during MCO online class, the teachers are not only focusing in teaching, but also on every individual child. They know if the child is concentrating in class or not. They did very very well which really surprised myself.

The teachers are really patient and didn't give up on my son. They follow up with me regularly.

We used to stay in China and even though he studied in China, his Mandarin didn't improve until he joins MyGenius. We can see his rapid improvement. I strongly recommend other parents to send their child to join MyGenius!

Before joining MyGenius, our son doesn't know Mandarin at all. After joining, he can understand Chinese and he is able to cope. He is more independent and doesn't rely on us too much. So far, MyGenius provides a good foundation to the children preparing to go to Chinese schools. This is the best so far.
