As a mother of two special needs children - my son, Armaan with hydrocephalus (Global Development Delay) and my daughter, Marsya with Autism - finding the right school felt like an impossible task. Each child has such unique needs, and I worried if there was a place that could understand and support both of them fully. Then we found AvidAscent, and everything changed.
From the very beginning, the staff at AvidAscent welcomed us with open arms. They didn’t see just diagnoses - they saw my children. They took the time to understand each of them individually: my son’s medical needs, his learning challenges due to hydrocephalus, and my daughter’s sensory sensitivities, communication delays, and emotional needs.

Since starting at AvidAscent, I’ve seen my daughter become more expressive, calm, and socially engaged. My son is learning to better manage his physical and cognitive challenges and is finally being included in a way that makes him feel proud of himself. For the first time, both my children are excited to go to school.
