We’re truly grateful to all the Coaches at 2 Percent Labs for their love, patience, and thoughtful guidance. My son once had small disagreements with a classmate, but with the Coach’s gentle support, they learned to understand and respect each other — and are now the best of friends.

What I appreciate most is how the school focuses on the children’s well-being and natural growth. The teachers never force them to perform just for the sake of parents’ approval. Instead, they encourage each child to express themselves freely and enjoy the learning process — so the children learn from the heart, not out of pressure.

The school also creates many meaningful experiences beyond academics: celebrating the Mooncake Festival at night with parents, making and selling mooncakes and fruit sticks etc to raise funds for class books, and exploring activities like batik painting and BookXcess visits. Every event helps the children build confidence, creativity, and empathy.

We’re deeply thankful to the Coach for nurturing not just knowledge, but also kindness, curiosity, and joy.

2 Percent was truly a school that stood out as we were surveying for schools to send our son to. I like that the children get daily outdoor time, have hands-on activities instead of constant writing and memorising, and even monthly excursions. I appreciate that we don’t have to coerce or force our son to attend school, as he himself is excited to attend every day, having things that he can look forward to. Communication is also very open between the coaches and parents. They organise events to build on the community and it’s something we really appreciate.

The environment in 2 Percent is a very creative one and what I like is that the coaches try not to give kids the answers. Instead, they encourage kids to think for themselves and learn for themselves. They’re always trying to make classes the most fun, which I appreciate. Josiah also has friends, especially those from the older group who take really good care of him. It’s really sweet to watch and I think that’s also a testament of how the coaches and the school have fostered this kind of loving, considerate behaviour.

Before 2 Percent, Jia Rou wasn’t sure how to communicate her feelings clearly. She would scream and shout to get attention. Now, she is able to communicate her thoughts and feelings better. We also feel the coaches here genuinely care about the children. We like that the coaches are very passionate about raising children who are independent, confident and socially capable. 2 Percent also teaches kids about the concept of money and we think that’s really really important. Jia Rou comes home to us talking about money, about how much things cost and how she wants to earn money. It’s a very very good thing for us, personally.

I’m happy with the school and truly feel that enrolling my child in 2% Lab is the best decision I’ve ever made. From day one, the coaches have been incredibly attentive, caring, and genuinely supportive—always taking the time to understand each child’s personality, strengths, and needs. I’m deeply impressed by the school’s 2% philosophy, which inspires children to be confident creators and independent thinkers. Their approach goes beyond academics, nurturing a growth mindset, innovative and entrepreneurial thinking, money mastery, and essential life skills from a young age. The fun and meaningful excursions extend learning beyond the classroom, and the daily updates help me stay connected and assured of my child’s progress every step of the way. I highly recommend 2% Lab to any parent looking for a preschool that truly cares and prepares children for life.
