Be STEM Ready is a prominent educational organisation in Malaysia focused on nurturing children’s skills in STEM and STEAM subjects. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Subang Jaya, the company initially started as “The Little Makers” before rebranding to emphasise preparing students for a rapidly evolving technological world. It holds international accreditation from STEM.org (USA), is licensed by the Malaysian Ministry of Education, and recognised as an HRD-certified training centre, reflecting its commitment to quality and credibility.
The organisation offers a range of programmes for children aged four to eighteen, including school holiday robotics camps, maker workshops, and STEM/STEAM hands-on projects. Its approach aims not only to build technical knowledge but also to foster creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, curiosity, and confidence. Be STEM Ready’s learning methodology follows the sequence “Inquire, Ignite, Inspire, Ideate, Innovate, Invent,” encouraging learners to progress from curiosity to practical innovation.
In addition to student programmes, Be STEM Ready also trains educators through certification courses to ensure sustainable STEM teaching practices. The company has received recognition for its contributions to education, including the “Best of STEAM Education in Malaysia 2022” award, and collaborates with schools and government bodies to host officially recognised robotics and drone competitions.
