Job Description

Teaching and Child Care
- Plan and develop the overall annual and monthly activity plan to ensure that the required learning outcomes are established and achieved for the respective year-groups.
- Implement, monitor and review programme activities in regular intervals for purposes of continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe physical environment conducive to children’s learning and development.
- Manage, maintain and ensure that all learning resources are utilised to benefit the learning experience of the children.
- Promote a work culture that emphasises on the all-round well-being of children
- Develop a process to track the development or needs of each child and to attend to the emerging needs of a child efficiently
- Document all records systematically for purposes of easy retrieval and referencing documentations.
- Communicate and liaise with parents to support children in realizing their potential or behavioural goals.

Centre Administration and Management
- Assist in the implementation of all administrative policies relating to the operations or matters concerning human resource management such as insurance (including students), health requirements and teaching permits
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Code of Behaviour, Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy and all other relevant policies.
- Assist in managing all matters pertaining to the physical maintenance of the Centre
- Manage the inventory of supplies, stationery, etc. of the centre
- Coordinate the transportation, custodial, cafeteria and other support services
- Help conduct safety inspections and safety drill practice activities, if required.

Centre Marketing and Enrolment
- Assist in managing all in-coming enquiries for admissions and the registration process for students
- Assist with the marketing and promotional activities for the Centre

Team Members
- Provide supervision to teachers and other staff to support them in conducting their responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation on-going professional development programmes for teachers and ancillary staff

Self-Awareness and Self-Management
- Appreciate the importance of the relationship with other members of the community and the importance and overall impact of effective working relationships
- Set a good standard of professional interactions and ensure professional relationship boundaries are in place
- Be aware of his/her skill set and be willing to seek help and advice when required
- Uphold professional integrity at all times e.g. discretion, confidentiality, loyalty and trust

Others
- Ensure and maintain confidentiality of the organisation’s information, documents, and database
- Perform other duties consistent with the role that many be reasonably required or assigned from time to time by the Manager

Job Requirements

1. Passionate in working with young children.
2. Able to work in a team.
3. Candidate must possess at least SPM/“O” level/Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma in Education/Teaching/Training/Early Childcare qualification or any related course.
