Job Description

Principal / Vice Principal -
1. Serve as the educational leader for the professional and classified staff in the school and cooperate with administration in determining the goals and objective for the schools.
2. Responsible for efficient and smooth running of the school.
3. Plan and work with the administration, and evaluation of all aspects of the educational program.
4. Work with teachers and students in developing a common understanding of disciplinary procedures and expected behavior in the framework of board policy as well as explaining and interpreting procedures to handle all emergencies arising in the school.
5. Strive to develop and maintain a system of records that will indicate students’ progress in relation to selected goals and objective of the school.
6. Monitor and maintain an overview of the curriculum and co-curriculum to ensure effective implementation and ensure the highest possible quality of education for the children.
7. Ensure overall well-being and safety of the children, responsible for regular good communication with every parent.
8. Constantly inspire, motivate teachers and ensuring that they are passionate and proficient in teaching young children.
9. Orients and assists new staff and new students and provide opportunities for their input in the school.

Mandarin Teacher / Daycare Teacher
1. Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
2. Plan and prepare lesson plans to ensure the effectiveness of lessons and activities.
3. Provide instructions to students by promoting interactive learning.
4. Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc).
5. Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
6. Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
7. Collaborate with other teachers and parents and participate in meetings as and when required.
8. Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
9. Observe and understand students' behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.

Job Requirements

Principal / Vice Principal :
• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education or other related subject that includes a teacher preparation program/ SPM with good grades.
• Preferably 8 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher and 4 years as principal.
• Have patience and passion to teach and deal with young children.
• Pedagogical, team player, committed, dedicated, proactive.
• Ability to prepare and follow fun appropriate activities according to lesson plan.
• Good command of written and spoken in English and Malay. Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Mandarin Teacher / Daycare Teacher :
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experiences in the related field is preferable for this position. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in English and Malay. Mandarin will be an added advantage!

Salary Range

Principal : Min - RM5,000, Max - RM6,000
Vice Principal : Min - RM3,000, Max - RM5,000
Mandarin Teacher: Min - RM3,000, Max - RM4,000
Daycare Teacher: Min - RM2,000, Max - RM3,500
