Job Description

- Guidance and care of children aged 9 months to 6 years
- Prepare and implement lessons plans that are age appropriate and encourage children's natural curiosity
- Manage class effectively to facilitate learning and personal development of children
- Good observation skills to identify development progress and opportunities
- Write regular children’s progress reports and communicate to parents
- Collaborate with the Centre Head and staff to ensure Sparkles is a happy and safe place for children and all staff
- Assist in admin duties as needed and assigned by the Centre Head

Job Requirements

- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Early Childcare or related qualifications/experience
- Loves working with children, use appropriate words and manners and is a role model for the children
- Is a good team player, contributing ideas and collaborating with the Centre Head and all staff
- Able to work independently in preparing and implementing the curriculum and lesson plans
- Good class management skills to ensure the environment is safe and appropriate for the children’s learning and personal development
- Able to write good progress reports and communicate children’s progress to parents
- Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and optionally, Mandarin
