The Parenthood Preschool's fundamental belief is based on the notion that the children’s success does not only lay upon his or her academic achievement. Their success as accomplished learners also depends on the ability to be confident in him or herself, together with the communication and social skills to understand and express feelings, thoughts and information - all of which are building blocks of learning.
Conveniently situated in Sunway Pyramid, this one-stop school’s full-day, half-day and after-school daycare programmes are all aimed to introduce the Explorers (aged 2+ to 3), Thinkers (aged 3+ to 4), Achievers (aged 4+ to 5), and Innovators (aged 5+ to 6) to formal learning by building a foundation of knowledge and skills within a warm, inviting and well-equipped environment that promotes self-esteem, encourages love of lifelong learning and celebrates the uniqueness of each child. Here, at The Parenthood Preschool, the children can happily play and learn at their own pace.
We believe that children learn best when they are in a safe, caring and fun environment that motivates them to explore, take risks and gain rich, challenging experiences. We have high expectations of our young learners and we understand how children need personalized learning activities in order to make progress, thrive and achieve their fullest potential. – The Parenthood Preschool
As ascribed by Howard Garner, The Parenthood Preschool emphasizes on the 7 areas of children’s Multiple Intelligences: Verbal/Linguistic, Logical/Mathematical, Musical, Visual/Spatial, Body/Kinesthetic, Interpersonal and Intrapersonal, all of which are fundamental to the growth of a child. To nurture, develop, and sharpen their holistic growth in these areas, this school’s carefully designed curriculum includes stimulating activities with developmentally interesting themes to spark the children’s curiosity, interest and enthusiasm. As the students at The Parenthood Preschool are only given undivided attention in classes with small teacher-student ratios, the loving qualified educators suitably access and personalise the children’s learning needs in those 7 intelligences' areas.
The materials used in this school’s teaching is a balanced framework between mixed groups play-based activities and age-streamed workbooks to fulfil the purpose of socialization and emotional growth, and academic excellence and smooth primary school’s transition respectively. Teachers are guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, covering the following 7 centralized areas of learning:
Personal, social and emotional development (PSED)
The activities’ outline is to develop children’s ability to understand his or her own feelings and emotions, along with the proper interaction with their peers and the surrounding people.
Children learn and imitate from their surroundings.

With the extension of nearby Playland and Kid’s Gym in the same building, children have the indoor accessibility to develop their gross-motor skills (rolling, balancing, playing) in a secure and safe environment once per week.

Strongly in line with their vision – “Unlocking Your Child’s Potential Beyond Education” – here at The Parenthood Preschool, children are encouraged to develop their leadership skills as well as team-building skills. The young learners are stimulated to continuously improve their problem-solving and critical thinking skills to maintain a positive growth mindset. Children are encouraged to use mistakes as learning points to develop resilience and self-improvement.
For parents who need an extra hand after school, The Parenthood Preschool also provides after-school daycare for all year groups until 6.00 p.m. All children’s personal needs will be taken care of, including food, hygiene and enrichment. Every Tuesday or Saturday, children aged 4 to 6 years can choose to participate in The Parenthood’s weekly enrichment programme called an Educational Tabletop Games Programme. Through a variety of engaging tabletop games like board games and card games, children pick up concrete skills like better concentration, problem-solving, strategic and lateral thinking, resilience, learning to cope with winning and losing, and self-reflection.
The Parenthood believes children learn best when they are in a fun and welcoming environment that allows them to play happily and thrive to their fullest potential. With this in mind, The Parenthood was built to serve as a one-stop centre for children’s edutainment needs. The facilities include The Preschool, dedicated classrooms for enrichment programmes, and “The Largest Family Park” equipped with uniquely designed playlands for endless family fun, celebrations and playdates.
