SunnySeeds Academy & SunnySeeds e-Academy, Aman Perdana Klang is a newly opened kindergarten for curious young minds aged 3 to 6 years. It joins an emerging community of local schools that offer a solid, well-rounded curriculum, which combines academic and skills-driven learning, to support children’s intellectual, cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth. They set a foundation of learning and confidence for everything to come, and a child’s first preschool experience will be nothing short of exceptional at SunnySeeds Academy.
Founded by Ms. Jaqueline, a passionate educator with a Master in Education and a mother of 3 young children, she shares what she has learned from years of teaching young children with her team of teachers, who are also qualified educators highly committed to their roles. They believe that children learn best when they are motivated about what they are doing, and when they feel valued and respected. Along with their strong understanding of child development, they are able to guide children to become lifelong learners living a well-balanced life with a purpose. They also believe in creating experiences for the children and to showcase children's transformation to the parents in whichever areas that the children are strong in.
I believe that a child's intelligence is not based on his or her performance in the classroom but when given appropriate support from the relevant people in the lives of the child, he or she can demonstrate the capacity to learn beyond what we, adults expect of the child. - Ms. Jaqueline, Founder of SunnySeeds Academy
As children begin to take the first steps toward becoming active participants in their learning, teachers create a supportive environment to expand children’s minds. Lessons are interactive and hands-on, and are designed to be developmentally appropriate. There’s a balance between structured learning, meaningful play, as well as nature exploration. Through careful observation, teachers become attuned to the interests of the children and use suitable materials to keep them focused, and even more so for them to enjoy learning.
A key component of the learning opportunities at SunnySeeds is fun learning. Teachers bring lessons to life with stories, games, music, media, sports and outdoor activities. It is one of their goals to provide plenty of opportunities for children to wonder, experiment with new things, play with different possibilities and discover their inner potential. At the same time, teachers also prompt children to work collaboratively with friends, express themselves and find creative ways to problem solve. They want children to never lose their curiosity to learn something new.
In this whole process, children pick up more than just the fundamentals needed to ensure a smooth continuum of learning when they go to primary school, they also develop skills they will need later in life, especially leadership and social-emotional skills. The main leadership qualities that they aim to empower children with include becoming self-reliant, seeking to proactively achieve goals, being able to regulate the state of their own social-emotional well-being, treating others with kindness, and finding the self-confidence to lead their own lives while inspiring others to find theirs.
This year the coronavirus pandemic has thrown us all a sharp-breaking curveball, nevertheless SunnySeeds Academy continued to work hard to optimise learning opportunities through their e-learning sessions. They tried to create moments for children to carry on learning, exploring, and maintaining positive relationships with their teachers and parents. During times like this, the importance of a family-school partnership becomes even more vital. As always, the school keeps everything open and honest with parents. Whenever possible, they will encourage parents to join in the educational process and be part of their children’s learning journey.
To best support everyone in this school community, they seek chances to collaborate with third party partners like fitness and special needs coaches. They also organise FREE parenting webinars that can positively impact children's performance in school.

While we envision schools reopening after the pandemic, SunnySeeds Academy & SunnySeeds e-Academy, Aman Perdana Klang has a lot planned in their books. To name a few, they intend to build up their outdoor nature area with more equipment to form outdoor classrooms, set up learning corners indoors, include a wider variety of enrichment programmes and bring children out for field trips to experience the real world. All in all, they hope to chart a vision to emerge from this global crisis stronger than ever before.
