This treasure trove of kindergartens is a mixed bag of established gems and some new and shiny baubles whose light shine just as bright and are just as precious. Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) is a top international school located in Mines Resort City, Seri Kembangan. Established 20 years ago, AISM offers quality educational programmes for kids from as young as age 3.
The school, which follows the well-balanced Australian Curriculum, consists of the Early Learning Centre (ELC), Junior School, and Middle & Senior School. The ELC follows a mix of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the Australian Early Years Learning Framework, which work together to facilitate the development of the whole child.
AISM aims to create a superb learning experience for all their students, where kids are nurtured to be curious, critical thinkers, who respect one another and their environment. At this school, kids are taught to use mindfulness, which helps support their wellbeing and education.
Parents looking for a convenient option for early years education and enrichment programmes for their children ages 3 to 12 need look no further than CIC Puncak Jalil in Seri Kembangan. Part of the CIC Enrichment Centre brand, it offers a holistic educational experience centred around modern education with Islamic values. Located on the upper floor of a commercial shop lot, the centre is still spacious and is equipped with modern facilities designed to help with the child’s development, including learning corners and flexible spaces that can be converted into areas for physical activity. The curriculum features 18 learning programmes that target core learning areas such as literacy, math, communication and language, and physical development – and there are plenty of hands-on activities too that are aimed at cultivating future leaders.
CIC Puncak Jalil
In Kidskool, the supportive and collaborative learning environment encourages the children to embark on a fun learning journey that nurture them academically, socially and physically. The holistic educational experience focuses on the development of the whole child.
Children are introduced to the early concept of all core subjects with lessons that are always interactive and engaging. Here, good character values are given the same importance as academic lessons, so that the children will grow up and learn with positive attitude, discipline and learn to take socially responsible actions. Kidskool accepts students from 2 to 6 years old.
Nanny’s Preschool & Kindie is located in Taman Pinggiran Putra, Seri Kembangan. They provide kindergarten and daycare services for young children ages 3 to 6. The centre opened in 2014, created by passionate mothers who understand the needs of other moms in terms of early childhood education in Malaysia.
Nanny’s Preschool aims to create a happy and memorable adventure for their young students. Since kids here are experiencing school life for the first time, the team at Nanny’s are careful about nurturing positive feelings and opinions towards learning.

Tadika Hati Ria is made up of a cluster of three buildings. The main administrative building is made up of two double-storey houses side by side. The third is just opposite, along the same road. Its principal, Madam Julie Yu painstakingly and methodically formulated her own system of teaching children to recognize and read words and sentences – the foundation and building blocks upon which a child’s early cognitive years are based. Students are guided by Tadika Hati Ria teachers, on a one-to-one basis, to recognize and remember words. The words that they have learned are repeated in short and simple sentences and stories. All these are designed to arouse their reading interest thus reinforcing the learning effectiveness. There are different levels of proficiency so that the little ones will not be intimidated or get discouraged. Students only proceed to the next level when they have mastered the present one. Besides the traditional English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics and Science classes, Tadika Hati Ria also has in its curriculum Moral Studies, Mental Arithmetic, Art and Craft, Story Telling and Han Yu Pin Yin. There are even holiday programmes specially organised for the children that include swimming lessons (yes, Tadika Hati Ria has its own swimming pool), special art and craft classes, visits to factories and places of interest.
