Cherie Hearts International Preschool, Old Klang Road, is a childcare and preschool for young children from age 2 months to 6 years. This newly opened branch located in Tiara Mutiara 2 provides young learners with the well-respected Cherie Hearts curriculum, which is recognised for its excellence in early childhood education.
This centre serves as a one-stop child care and education provider where busy working parents can rest assured knowing that their little ones are receiving the very best guidance through their critical early years.
The curriculum used at this centre is holistic, experiential, and deeply engages the five senses of touch, hearing, smell, sight and taste. Through the use of real-life objects and hands-on activities, children learn faster as lessons are more interesting and meaningful.
Infants here are provided not only with quality care and love, but are guided through play activities that support their development. For older kids, Cherie Hearts offers an elegantly balanced curriculum that combines both experiential and academic learning.
Parents need not worry as students in their kindergarten programme are well-prepared for a successful transition into primary school. The teachers facilitate this by combining tried-and-true conventional methods with modern approaches that work on every aspect of development—physical, intellectual, emotional, social and linguistic.
The teachers who work at Cherie Hearts Old Klang Road are qualified with the minimum requirement of a diploma in early childhood education. They are also experienced, patient, kind and have a great love for kids. These important traits create a passionate team of carers and educators who are committed to fostering the growth of children in a positive learning environment.
Besides this, Cherie Hearts gives their teachers regular training to build their skills and address any areas that need improvement, based upon close observation of teaching practices.
This Cherie Hearts centre opened in September 2020, showcasing a learning environment that is spacious, well-lit and modern-looking.
Within the centre there is a big indoor playground, canteen, multipurpose hall and sick bay. They also have a library where kids of all ages are given a book to bring home every week.
When it comes to safety, this centre makes sure to cover all bases. They have a protective sponge covering on their walls, while their floors are made of a material that minimises the impact of potential falls. A thorough cleaning is carried out twice a day here—once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Showing careful attention, the management avoids using any chemicals in their cleaning routine that could irritate or harm kids.
Furthermore, as a way to keep their students strong and build their immunity, children at this Cherie Hearts preschool are given Scott’s Cod Liver Oil every morning.
Last but not least, security is also a priority here as only registered individuals who have provided pictures and identification can pick up children after school.
Kids who join the full-day programme are given breakfast, lunch and tea time. Notably, their special menu has been carefully looked at by professional nutritionists and doctors, allowing for only age-appropriate, healthy, and well-balanced food.
The meals that kids get here are all prepared in-house by a designated chef in their hygienic kitchen.
Cherie Hearts Old Klang Road understands how important it is for parents to stay consistently informed on the progress of their little ones. This is why they use a phone app to provide parents with daily updates on children’s activities at the centre and notes on their observed behaviours. They are also planning to invite parents to weekend classes in order to give working moms and dads more opportunities to take part in their child’s education.
