Founder Ms. Natalie Lim has almost a decade of experience in the childcare industry, including her time in Australia. She describes the new branch as another level of experience. A Space Designed Around Young Children
The Kota Damansara centre stands out through its spacious layout. As a corner shoplot, the space benefits from windows along the sides, bringing in natural light and better ventilation to create a more open atmosphere.
Each of the design decisions is purposeful. Infant areas feature padded flooring and rounded corners, including rounded wall edges, to reduce hazards. There are also transparent glass panels at different angles, allowing easy supervision of the baby room.

As children enter the junior toddler and toddler stages, they explore their surroundings, build social skills, develop motor abilities and practise independence. Pre-kindy children aged three to four continue learning through play, while developing pre-writing, reading, counting and drama skills to prepare for kindergarten.
Importantly, Casa Bambini does not position these experiences as an academic race. Ms. Natalie believes that when children feel safe, secure and confident, learning can happen naturally. Fine-motor development, sensory experiences and practical play build foundations for later writing and academic tasks.
The full-day programme runs from 8am to 6.30pm, giving working parents a dependable daily rhythm. Across the day, children balance meals, rest, active play, guided activities and quiet moments, creating predictability without sacrificing flexibility.
Care With Safety at Every Step
Safety and hygiene receive close attention. At arrival, children undergo temperature screening before entering. A further body check is conducted in their room, looking for unusual rashes or symptoms. If a child appears unwell, they will be cared for separately while the parents are contacted to arrange for collection.
Teacher-to-child ratio here are as low as 1:3 for infants and 1:5 for toddlers, ensuring each child receives the attention and care they need. Nurturing by nature, the teachers are all qualified and experienced, with some even having medical backgrounds. Ongoing training is also provided, and all staff are first-aid trained.

Ms. Natalie’s journey explains Casa Bambini’s philosophy. After beginning her IT career, she studied early childhood education in Australia, gained childcare experience there and returned to Malaysia. Searching for childcare for her own child, she noticed a gap between her overseas experience and local approaches.
Casa Bambini grew from her desire to bring a more child-centred experience to Malaysia. She remains hands-on, visiting centres regularly and attending parent-teacher meetings. She wants that sincerity and connection to be part of the Casa Bambini culture. Ultimately, she hopes children leave Casa Bambini feeling exactly as they should: safe, confident and happy – the most meaningful measure of success for a childcare centre.
