BrightFuture was born from the same values that inspired Mr. Wee to establish GrowIn Sprouts, Malaysia’s renowned one-stop therapy centre for children with special needs. Many families who successfully transitioned their children from early intervention at GrowIn Sprouts were left wondering: What’s next?
“When our kids graduated from early intervention at GrowIn Sprouts, they were ready for the next step,” explains Mr. Wee. “We wanted to create a space where they could learn alongside typical children, and where typical children could grow up with empathy and understanding. That’s why BrightFuture was built—to give every child a truly inclusive education and a brighter future.”
This seamless connection between the two centres ensures that children with developmental differences have a smooth transition from therapy-based learning to a real classroom environment—a unique advantage few schools can match.

“The benefit goes both ways,” says Mr. Wee. “Typical children develop empathy and self-confidence when they learn alongside neurodiverse friends. They become more mature, responsible, and helpful without being told to. “As an IT professional myself, I believe digital literacy is a core skill,” Mr. Wee shares. “But more importantly, we teach life skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and financial literacy. Our children learn to make handicrafts, cook, sell their creations, and manage money during our open days.”

BrightFuture offers a full-day programme from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, designed for working parents who want a safe, enriching environment for their children. Beyond core academics, the schedule includes:

Meals are prepared fresh in-house, emphasising healthy eating with vegetables from the garden whenever possible. “There’s no fast food here—no nuggets, no burgers,” says Mr. Wee proudly. “We want children to develop healthy habits from the start.”
5. Highly Qualified and Well-Trained Teachers
At BrightFuture, teaching goes beyond academics. Teachers must be capable of guiding typical and neurodiverse children in the same classroom—an expectation that requires specialised training and empathy.
“We are very strict with hiring,” Mr. Wee explains. “Candidates undergo teaching trials and a six-month probation period with daily training. Many teachers come in expecting only to teach typical children—we train them to handle both.”
With a low teacher-student ratio (1:5 for typical children and 1:3 for special needs), every child receives the individual attention they deserve.

BrightFuture believes parents are essential partners in education. The school maintains transparent communication through a dedicated app for daily updates, photos, and videos, along with weekly and monthly reports stored in Google Drive.
