Job Description
We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join MAHANS International School. Teachers are responsible for delivering engaging, student-centred lessons, supporting students’ academic and character development, and creating a positive, respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include lesson planning and teaching, student assessment and progress monitoring, classroom management, parent communication, participation in school activities and programmes, and collaboration with colleagues.
Teachers are expected to support the school’s holistic educational approach, which integrates academic learning with character education, values, cultural appreciation and personal development.
Job Requirements
• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or relevant professional qualification in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related subject area.
• Relevant teaching experience is preferred; fresh graduates with strong potential and a passion for education may also be considered.
• Good communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• Able to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the school community.
• Committed to students’ academic, character and holistic development.
• Experience with the Cambridge curriculum or an international school environment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English is required for relevant teaching positions. Additional language abilities, including Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu, are an advantage depending on the position.
• Willing to participate in school activities, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary Range
RM2,800 – RM6,000 per month, depending on qualifications, teaching experience, subject specialisation and position.
