At Tots & Friends Child Care Centre, we believe every child deserves a happy, loving and meaningful start to their early years. We provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment where children can feel secure, build confidence and develop a love for learning.

We welcome children from 1 to 3 years old and support their growth through age-appropriate, play-based learning and meaningful everyday experiences. We understand that every child develops at their own pace, so our teachers provide gentle guidance, encouragement and care to help each child grow with confidence.

Our programme focuses on holistic early childhood development, including language and communication, cognitive development, physical coordination, social-emotional skills, sensory development, creativity and practical life skills. Through stories, music, art, movement, sensory play, hands-on activities and daily routines, children are encouraged to explore, discover and learn naturally.

To build a strong early learning foundation, we introduce basic English, Chinese and early Mathematics in a fun and age-appropriate way. Our Flashcard Reading Programme is designed to enhance children’s vocabulary and word recognition through regular exposure to words and pictures. This helps children gradually build their vocabulary, improve language awareness and develop confidence in early reading.

We also place strong emphasis on independence and self-help skills. Children are encouraged to practise eating independently, tidying up, washing and drying their hands, caring for their belongings and helping with simple classroom tasks. These everyday experiences help children develop responsibility, confidence and independence.

For children from 2 years old, we provide toilet training support as part of our practical life programme. Our teachers guide children patiently and positively as they learn appropriate toileting routines and gradually become more independent. We work closely with parents to encourage consistency between home and school while respecting each child’s individual readiness and pace.

At Tots & Friends, we believe children learn best when they are actively involved and having fun. Our teachers provide opportunities for children to communicate, make choices, explore, solve simple problems and build positive relationships with their friends.

Most importantly, we want every child to feel loved, respected and valued. We believe parents and teachers are partners in a child’s development, and we maintain open communication with families to share children’s progress, interests and milestones.
