We're looking for a Daycare Supervisor / Daycare Teacher that is passionate and dedicated in working with young children.
Job Description
Daycare Supervisor:
- The key role of the Supervisor is to oversee the smooth operations and management of the Daycare and to ensure that Villamaria Good Shepherd values are inculcated in the practice of ensuring quality delivery of the service in a conducive learning environment.
- The job scope of the Supervisor includes centre administration & management, daycare programme delivery and development, centre marketing and others.
Daycare Teacher:
- Providing care for children, such as setting schedules and routines, grooming, feeding, toileting/changing diapers, and cleaning rooms and toys.
- Developing, encouraging and executing age-appropriate learning and socialization to ensure children learn basic skills and concepts, such as communication, manners, sharing, etc.
- Maintaining a safe workplace by monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional issues and reporting concerns to Principal.
- Helping children discover new interests by introducing them to art, music, sports, and other potential hobbies.
- Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline, as needed.
- Working with parents to help children progress towards educational and behavioral goals.
Job Requirements
Daycare Supervisor:
• Preferably with prior working experience in Daycare
• Teaching and lesson planning experience
• Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Daycare Teacher:
• Preferably with prior working experience in Daycare
• Possess SPM/Certificate or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written Working Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm / 9:30 am - 6:30 pm (inclusive of one hour break)
