Every parent dreams of witnessing their children’s success, starting from their school performances. However, for children to enjoy true success, they must first have the advantage of being proficient readers. A reader-child is more than one who can sound out words. A true reader-child is brave and will readily try to discover new books on his or her own. A child must first be nurtured in his or her love for reading, and there should always be encouragement to discuss, debate, and lend their opinion on what they have read.
