Clover Learning Centre is an education centre providing various learning programs for children since the year 2008. It began as a Montessori Centre in Johor Bahru, providing Montessori Centre International (London) preschool and Kindergarten curriculum (from 2.5 to 6 years old). As the founder of the centre believes in a whole-child education, many programs that complement the Montessori curriculums have been added to the centre within the first few years of operation.

Mission: Provide a whole-child education in terms of child development in the areas of intellectual, physical, language, social and emotional through concept building, hands-on work, musical involvement, art with imagination and technology.

Vision: To help build a better society through educating and developing children to be useful members of the society.

Why are we different from other schools?

It is because we truly advocate the Montessori philosophy, teaching the children to learn-by-doing, cultivating a love for learning through senses. This helps the children to build up a strong foundation in all subject areas.

Be it Montessori, Clover Leaders Club, Kindermusik, KidsArtFun,《我绘作书》, or any core-curricular activities, our educators are experienced and passionate in teaching. Our programs are led by educators with vast knowledge in their teaching areas and loving hearts to always find ways to help children develop / achieve in their own unique ways. This strong background in Education and passion has made us stand out among all.

Being one of the parent with upmost satisfaction with Clover Learning Centre. My 9-year-old daughter, Kmy, joined the Saturday montessori enrichment classes at Clover in the year 2013 & 2014. Although the centre is far from our home, we managed to overcome all difficulties and with our persistence we could send her for classes at Clover each week without fail. Although Kmy has stopped going for the classes due to her primary school study in Singapore, she is still familiar with the phonics taught by the Clover Teacher.

We've seen how Kmy has benefited just from the weekly Clover class, and we were determined to send our 2nd child, Maybis, to attend the full Montessori program at Clover in 2019. At that time, Kmy and I had to move and live in Singapore for the sake of her primary school study. As we can't find a better school than Clover, my wife stayed back in J.B. during weekdays for Maybis to have a chance to study at Clover. This also means that our family is separated in most days. You can definitely see the reason why we made such a decision, it was because Clover school! Anyway, we have not regretted on our decision till today although we are in Singapore now!

Maybis had a vivid and wonderful memories at Clover, we could deeply feel the efforts of each teacher's patience and kindness towards the new students. I witnessed the way on how they handle Maybis on the first day. She cried badly wihen separated from parents. We were very worried until I saw a Teacher stayed with her at one corner to keep her calm. I was touched at that moment because she wasn't been abandoned yet she was being cared for! As a parent, we definitely did a lot of researches and even had encountered the new students were putting aside / standing at aside during their new school. We have always been told by other kindergartens that new students will always cry for a few days before adpating to the new environment. Indeed! We understood that and had seen how Clover has treated the students with love and respect! Maybis was so happy in school and always shared a lot of her happiness with us. It meant a lot to me and my wife because of their efforts showing care to the kids. Maybis had a wonderful 9 months at Clover and we got no choice but to bring her back to Singapore due to immigration issue. It was merciless to her because she had adapted well and improved everyday at Clover.

Last but not least, I am always wondering if Clover School has any plan to open in Singapore. Definitely we would be joining and do the best effort we could to get it started. My wife @ Celine always asking me this question. I can't answer but to leave it to Ms Chaz Yee, the principal and founder.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks for all the teachers' care, patience (tremendous amount required) and efforts to nurture and educate Elliana over the last four years. The teachers at Clover are always positive, energetic and quick to address any concerns we have. As evidenced by their low staff turnover, they have a happy team who makes Clover more than just a school. It's more like a second home for the children.

We have recommended Clover to other parents over the years but they often come back to complain that they are still on the waiting list. Please keep up the good work!

I like this school because it adopts child-led learning approach. My children were given opportunities to learn at their own pace.

Besides, this school uses Montessori apparatus in their teaching. These apparatus really impressed my husband because they helped my children to have better grasp of the abstract concepts systematically.

The teachers are not only knowledgeable in early childhood education, but experienced too. From time to time, they gave me suggestions in helping children development.

Overall, this is a very good preschool with right direction and approach.

Both my boys started at Clover and stayed all the way. Family oriented, quality teachers and the children seem to be happy and settle in quickly. There seems to be a right balance between playing and learning. Big thanks to the teachers’ hard work and time.

I like this school. Especially my son loves it. He has changed and improved a lot in both academic performances and his behaviours there. The teachers are very friendly and nice to both children and parents. They are willing to communicate with parents in any small matters, so you will easily know how the children are like in the school. I also like the fact that the teachers are so patient. The teachers follow the true Montessori way of showing the children the first steps of doing the activities, then letting the children do and explore according to their learning needs.
I’m really happy that I've found the right place for my son to learn!

I feel very fortunate to be able to enrol my twins in Clover Learning Centre. Teachers here respect children's individual development. Children can learn through playing - building the blocks, listening to stories, singing and dancing, making friends, learning the basic routines of school’s life. Clover also remains in close contact with parents and update them the progress of their children.

Thanks to Clover and all the teachers who believe in children’s strength to grow and develop, providing them with the environment and the learning methods which suit their own little world well.
